Georgia Phi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity
Welcome to the Georgia Phi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. I feel both proud and privileged to be a part of an organization with such a distinguished history and a promising future. In over one hundred years of brotherhood on Georgia Tech's campus, the Georgia Phi chapter of SAE has set itself apart as a leader in all core areas of greek community membership and of life. The chapter has benefited from many hard working and successful brothers, including golfing legend Bobby Jones and former Mayor of Atlanta, Ivan Allen, Jr. Using the foundations set by these gentlemen, we continue their tradition, striving to excel in friendship, scholarship, service, and brotherhood everyday. Our creed, The True Gentleman, serves as a guide to each of our members in academics, athletics, leadership, and life.
Since our founding in 1890, the Georgia Phi chapter has made a habit of training and initiating successful and responsible members year after year. Our members take pride in being involved on campus and many hold leadership positions in Georgia Tech organizations and in the Greater Atlanta community. Personally, I have been a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon since 2010. Since joining, I have been a part of a chapter that has made significant advancements in all facets: leadership, academics, involvement, and brotherhood, while continuing to uphold the ideals of a True Gentleman. I look forward to helping lead the chapter towards strong advancements in each of these areas during my time as president.
If you are a college student or college bound high school senior interested in rushing/joining the greek community, please feel free to contact our Rush Chairman, Eric Farrell, or me. You can also find more information on our Rush SAE web page. SAE offers many opportunities for freshmen, including the True Gentleman Scholarship, which recognizes and rewards incoming freshmen who excel in the classroom and best represent the True Gentleman. For other visitors, including alumni and parents, I invite you look through our website and stay informed on where our chapter stands today.
